vali

muhammad Ali paasha, jo usamaani saamraajya ke dauraan misr ke vali the

waali ya vali (arabi: وaaاaaلaaي) ek upaadhi hai jo arab khilaaft aur usamaani saamraajya dvaara kisi prashaasanik vibhaag ke adhyaksh ke liye prayog ki jaati thi. yeh aaj bhi bahut si arab-bhaashi deshon mein istemaal hoti hai. jis praant ya jile ko waali chalaaye use 'vilaayaah' ya 'vilaayat' kaha jaata hai.[1]

hindi mein prayog

yeh arabi ka shabd hindi mein bhi paaya jaata hai. jis vyakti ka koi saga-sambandhi na ho uske baare mein kaha jaata hai ki usaka 'na vali na vaaris hai'. usi tarah agar kisi vyakti ka kisi maamale se koi lena-dena naheen to kaha jaata hai ki usaka us maamale se 'koi vali-vaasta naheen' (yaani yeh usaki nigraani se baahar hai).
