Kerala ke kaasaragod jile mein bhi bahut log tulu bhaasha bolte hain.

udupi jile ke ek braahman ne tiglaari lipi ka prayog karke 'Bhagwat' naam ka ek granth ki rachana ki hai. kavi mandaar keshav bhat ne 'mandaar raamaayan' naam ka ek aadhunik mahaakaavya likha hai.
