trishool himaalaya ki teen chotiyon ke samooh ka naam hai, jo pashchimi kumaaoon mein sthit hain. yeh uttaraakhand raajya ke madhya mein baageshvar jila ke nikat hain. ye nanda devi parvat se pashchim dakshin-pashchim disha mein 15 ki॰mee॰ (9 meal) door nanda devi raashtreeya udyaan ko gherate hue shikharon ke samooh ka dakshin-poorvi bhaag hain. in teen shikharon ke kaaran hi inka naam hindu Bhagwan Shiv ke astr trishool ka naam diya gaya hai. mukhya shikhar trishool-1 ki oonchaai 7000 meter (22970 feet) hai. yeh shikhar 7000 mi. se oonchi pehli choti hai, jis par (1907 mein) chadhaai ki gayi thi.

teen shikharon ke naam kramash: trishool 1, trishoola2 evam trishool 3 hain. mukhya punjak ek uttar-dakshin rij hai, jismein trishool-1 uttari chhor va trishool-3 dakshini chhor par hain. trishool ka sarvottam drushya bedini bugyaal evam kausaani se dikhaai deta hai. isse kuchh hi kilometer uttar-pashchim mein nanda ghanti, evam ekdam dakshin-poorv mein mrugathani shikhar hain.
