praarambhik jeevan

maharshi dayaanand ke hrudaya mein aadarshavaad ki uchch bhaavana, yathaarthavaadi maarg apnaane ki sahaj pravrutti, maatrubhoomi ki niyti ko nai disha dene ka adamya utsaah, dhaarmik-saamaajik-aarthik va raajanaitik drushti se yugaanukool chintan karne ki teevr ichha tatha aaryaavarteeya (bhaarateeya) janta mein gauravamaya ateet ke prati nishtha jagaane ki bhaavana thi. unhonne kisi ke virodh tatha ninda karne ki paravaah kiye bina aaryaavart (Bhaarat) ke hindu samaaj ka kaayaakalp karna apna dhyeya bana liya tha.

gyaan ki khoj

faalgun Krishna sanvat 1895 mein shivraatri ke din unke jeevan mein naya mod aaya. unhein naya bodh hua. ve ghar se nikal pade aur yaatra karte hue vah guru virjaanandake paas pahunche. guruvar ne unhein paanini vyaakaran, paatanjal-yogasootr tatha ved-vedaang ka adhyayan karaaya. guru dakshina mein unhonne maanga- vidya ko safal kar dikhaao, paropakaar karo, satya shaastron ka uddhaar karo, mat mataantaron ki avidya ko mitaao, ved ke prakaash se is ajnyaaan roopi andhakaar ko door karo, vaidik dharm ka aalok sarvatr vikeern karo. yahi tumhaari gurudakshina hai. unhonne aasheervaad diya ki ishvar unke purushaarth ko safal kare. unhonne antim shiksha di -manushyakrut granthon mein ishvar aur rishiyon ki ninda hai, rishikrut granthon mein naheen. ved pramaan hain. is kasauti ko haath se na chhodna.

aarya samaaj ki sthaapana

Om ko aarya samaaj mein ishvar ka sarvottam aur upayukt naam maana jaata hai.

maharshi dayaanand ne chaitr shukl pratipda sanvat 1932(san 1875) ko girgaanv mumbai mein aaryasamaaj ki sthaapana ki. aaryasamaaj ke niyam aur siddhaant praanimaatr ke kalyaan ke liye hain sansaar ka upakaar karna is samaaj ka mukhya uddeshya hai, arthaat shaareerik, aatmik aur saamaajik unnati karna.

vaichaarik aandolan, shaastraarth evam vyaakhyaan

Punjab mein unke prati bahut utsaah jaagrat hua aur saare praant mein aaryasamaaj ki shaakhaaen khulne lageen. tabhi se Punjab aaryasamaajiyon ka pradhaan gadh raha hai.

samaaj sudhaar ke kaarya

svaraajya ke pratham sandeshavaahak

kraanti ki vimarsh

vichaar vimarsh tatha yojana-nirdhaaran ke uparaant svaami ji to haridvaar mein hi ruk gaye tatha anya paanyachon raashtreeya neta yojana ko yathaarth roop dene ke liye apne-apne sthaanon par chale gaye. unke jaane ke baad svaami ji ne apne kuchh vishvast saadhu sannyaasiyon se sampark sthaapit kiya aur unka ek gupt saङagathan banaaya. is saङagathan ka mukhyaalaya indraprasth (Delhi) mein maharauli sthit yogamaaya mandir mein banaaya gaya. is mukhyaalaya ne svaadheenata samar mein ullekhaneeya bhoomika nibhaayi. svaami ji ke netrutv mein saadhuon ne bhi sampoorn desh mein kraanti ka alakh jagaaya. ve kraantikaariyon ke sandesh ek sthaan se doosare sthaan par pahunyachaate, unhein protsaahit karte aur aavashyakta padne par swayam bhi hathiyaar uthaakar aङagrejon se saङagharsh karte. san 1857 ki kraanti ki sampoorn avadhi mein raashtreeya neta, svaami dayaanand sarasvati ke nirntar sampark mein rahe.

aङagrejon ko teekha javaab

idhar-udhar ki kuchh aupachaarik baaton ke uparaant Lord naarthabruk ne vinmrata se apni baat svaami ji ke saamane rakhi- "apne vyaakhyaan ke praarambh mein aap jo ishvar ki praarthana karte hain, kya usamein aap aङagreji sarkaar ke kalyaan ki bhi praarthana kar sakeङage."

Governor general ki baat sunakar svaami ji sahaj hi sab kuchh samajh gaye. unhein aङagreji sarkaar ki buddhi par taras bhi aaya, jo unhein theek tarah naheen samajh saki. unhonne nirbheekata aur drudhta se Governor general ko uttar diya- "main aisi kisi bhi baat ko sveekaar naheen kar sakta. meri yeh spasht maanyata hai ki raajaneetik star par mere deshvaasiyon ki nirbaadh pragati ke liye tatha sansaar ki sabhya jaatiyon ke samudaaya mein aaryaavart (Bhaarat) ko sammaananeeya sthaan pradaan karne ke liye yeh anivaarya hai ki mere deshvaasiyon ko poorn svaadheenata praapt ho. sarvashaktishaali paramaatma ke samaksh pratidin main yahi praarthana karta hoon ki mere deshavaasi videshi satta ke jue se sheeghraatisheeghr mukt hon."

Governor general ko svaami ji se is prakaar ke teekhe uttar ki aasha naheen thi. mulaakaat tatkaal samaapt kar di gayi aur svaami ji vahaan se laut aae. iske uparaant sarkaar ke guptachar vibhaag ki svaami ji par tatha unki sanstha aarya-samaaj par gahari drushti rahi. unki pratyek gatividhi aur unke dvaara bole gaye pratyek shabd ka rikaard rakha jaane laga. aam janta par unke prabhaav se sarkaar ko ehsaas hone laga ki yeh baagi fakeer aur aaryasamaaj kisi bhi din sarkaar ke liye khatra ban sakte hain. isliye svaami ji ko samaapt karne ke liye bhi tarah-tarah ke shadyantr rache jaane lage.

hatya ka shadyantr

svaami ji ki mrutyu jin paristhitiyon mein hui, usase bhi yahi aabhaas milta hai ki usamein nishchit hi agreji sarkaar ka koi shadyantr tha. svaami ji ki mrutyu 30 October 1883 ko deepaavali ke din sandhya ke samay hui thi. un dinon ve Jodhpur naresh mahaaraaj jasavant Singh ke nimntran par Jodhpur gaye hue the. vahaan unke nitya hi pravachan hote the. yadaakada mahaaraaj jasavant Singh bhi unke charanon mein baithakar vahaan unke pravachan sunate. do-chaar baar svaami ji bhi raajya mahalon mein gaye. vahaan par unhonne nanheen naamak veshya ka anaavashyak hastakshep aur mahaaraaj jasavant Singh par usaka atyadhik prabhaav dekha. svaami ji ko yeh bahut bura laga. unhonne mahaaraaj ko is baare mein samajhaaya to unhonne vinmrata se unki baat sveekaar kar li aur nanheen se sambandh tod liye. isse nanheen svaami ji ke bahut adhik viruddh ho gayi. usane svaami ji ke rasoie kaliya urf jagannaath ko apni taraf mila kar unke doodh mein pisa hua kaanyach dalava diya. thodi hi der baad svaami ji ke paas aakar apna aparaadh sveekaar kar liya aur uske liye kshama maaङagi. udaar-hrudaya svaami ji ne use raah-kharch aur jeevan-yaapan ke liye paanyach sau rupae dekar vahaan se vida kar diya taaki police use pareshaan na kare. baad mein jab svaami ji ko Jodhpur ke aspataal mein bharti karavaaya gaya to vahaan sambandhit chikitsak bhi shak ke daayare mein raha. us par aarop tha ki vah aushadhi ke naam par svaami ji ko halka vish pilaata raha. baad mein jab svaami ji ki tabiyat bahut kharaab hone lagi to unhein Ajmer ke aspataal mein laaya gaya. magar tab tak kaafi vilamb ho chuka tha. svaami ji ko bachaaya naheen ja saka.

is sampoorn ghatnaakram mein aashaङaka yahi hai ki veshya ko ubhaarane tatha chikitsak ko baragalaane ka kaarya aङagreji sarkaar ke ishaare par kisi aङagrej adhikaari ne hi kiya. anyatha ek saadhaaran veshya ke liye yeh sambhav naheen tha ki keval apne balaboote par svaami dayaanand sarasvati jaise suprasiddh aur lokapriya vyakti ke viruddh aisa shadyantr kar sake. bina kisi protsaahan aur sanrakshan ke chikitsak bhi aisa dussaahas naheen kar sakta tha.
