shreemadabhaagavat puraan mein shri shukadev ji ke anusaar:- bhoolok tatha dyulok ke madhya mein antariksh lok hai. is dyulok mein soorya Bhagwan nakshatr taaron ke madhya mein viraajamaan rah kar teenon lokon ko prakaashit karte hain. uttaraayan, dakshinaayan tatha vishukt naamak teen maargon se chalne ke kaaran kark, makar tatha samaan gatiyon ke chhote, bade tatha samaan din raatri banaate hain. jab Bhagwan soorya mesh tatha tula raashi par rahate hain tab din raatri samaan rahate hain. jab ve vrush, mithun, kark, Singh aur kanya raashiyon mein rahate hain tab kramash: raatri ek-ek maas mein ek-ek ghadi badhti jaati hai aur din ghatate jaate hain. jab soorya vrushchik, makar, kumbh, meen or mesh raashi mein rahate hain tab kramash: din prati maas ek-ek ghadi badhta jaata hai tatha raatri kam hoti jaati hai.
