rel

rel (Rail) parivhan ka ek jriya hai jismein yaatriyon aur maal ko patariyon par chalne vaale vaahanon par ek sthaan se dusare sthaan le jaaya jaata hai.[1] paaramparik roop se rel vaahanon ke neeche pahiyein hote hain jo ispaat (steel) ki bani do patariyon par santulit roop se chalte hain, lekin aadhunik kaal mein chumbakeeya prabhaav se patari ke oopar latakakar chalne waali 'maigalev' (maglev) aur ek patari par chalne waali 'monorel' jaisi vyavasthaaeain bhi rel vyavastha mein gini jaati hain. rel ki patari par chalne vaale vaahan aksar ek lambi pankti mein ek dusare se jnjeeron se jude hue dabbe hote hain jinhein ek ya ek se adhik koyale, deejl, bijli ya anya oorja se chalne wala engine (engine) kheinchata hai. is tarah se jude hue dabbon aur injanon ko 'relagaadi' ya 'train' (train) bulaaya jaata hai.[2]
anya bhaashaaoain mein
vaise to 'rel' shabd lagbhag sabhi bhaashaaoain mein pravesh kar chuka hai fir bhi bahut si bhaashaaoain mein iske liye sthaaneeya shabd gadhe gaye hain. dhyaan deejiye ki yeh shabd koshon aur sarkaari dastaavejon mein to miltein hain lekin aksar saamaanya prayog mein naheen hain. bahut si bhaashaaoain mein rel ko 'lohe ka maarg' ya 'lohe ke maarg par chalne wala vaahan' jaise vichaar lekar shabdon ka aavishkaar kiya gaya hai. udaaharan ke liye:
