bhakti ke kshetr mein mahaapubhu shreeval‍aalabhaachaarya ji ka saadhan maarg pushtimaarg kahalaata hai. pushtimaarg ke anusaar seva do prakaar se hoti hai - naam-seva aur s‍aavaroop-seva. s‍aavaroop-seva bhi teen prakaar ki hoti hai -- tanuja, vittaja aur maanasi. maanasi seva ke do prakaar hote hain - maryaada-maargeeya aur pushtimaargeeya. maryaada-maargeeya maanasi-seva paddhati ka aacharan karne wala saadhak jahaaain apni mamata aur ahan ko der karta hai, vahaaain pushti-maargeeya maanasi-seva paddhati wala saadhak apne shuddh prem ke dvaara shreekrush‍aan bhakti mein leen ho jaata hai aur unke anugrah se sahaj mein hi apni vaankshit vas‍aatu praap‍aat kar leta hai.

vallabhaachaarya dvaara pratipaadit shuddhaadvaitavaad darshan ke bhaktimaarg ko pushtimaarg kehte hain. shuddhaadvaitavaad ke anusaar brahm maaya se alipt hai, isaliye shuddh hai. maaya se alipt hone ke kaaran hi yeh advait hai. yeh brahm sagun bhi hai aur nirgun bhi. saamaanya buddhi ko paraspar virodhi prateet hone waali baaton ka brahm mein sahaj antarbhaav ho jaata hai. vah anu se bhi chhota aur sumeru se bhi bada hai. vah anek hokar bhi ek hai. yeh brahm svaadheen hokar bhi bhakt ke adheen ho jaata hai. vishishtaadvait ki tarah shuddhaadvaitavaadi ne bhi brahm ke saath saath jagat ko bhi satya bataaya hai. kaaranaroop brahm ke satya hone par kaaryaroop jagat mithya naheen ho sakta. brahm ki pratikruti hone ke kaaran jagat ki trikaalaabaadh satta hai. jeev aur jagat ka naash naheen hota, sirf aavirbhaav aur tirobhaav hota hai.

pushtimaarg shuddhaadvait ke darshan ko hi bhakti mein dhaalata hai. pushti ka shaabdik arth hai 'poshan'. shreemadbhaagavat mein ishvar ke anugrah ko poshan kaha gaya hai- “aposhanan tadanugrah:”. vallabhaachaarya ke anusaar, “akrushnaanugraharoopa hi pushti: kaalaadi baadhaka”. arthaat kaalaadi ke prabhaav se mukt karne wala Krishna ka anugrah hi pushti hai. pushtimaargi bhakti ka moolaadhaar bhagavatakrupa aur unke prati poorn samarpan hai. bhakt ke Bhagwan ki or dhyaan le jaane ke pehle hi Bhagwan bhakt par apni krupa varsha kar deta hai. Krishna ki murali dvaara gopiyon par krupa varsha hoti hai. Krishna ki yeh murali anugrah sanchaarika hai. pushtimaarg mein bhakt svaya ko poornataya Bhagwan ke aasare chhod deta hai.

pushtimaarg mein jeevon ke teen prakaar bataaye jaate hain- pravaah jeev, maryaada jeev aur pushti jeev. janm maran ke bandhan mein baindhe jeev ko 'pravaah jeev' kehte hain. jo jeev ved, upanishd aadi ke adhyayan se brahm gyaan praapt karne ki koshish karta hai use 'maryaada jeev' kehte hain aur jeev Bhagwan ki bhakti aur sneh ko apna avalanb banaata hai, use 'pushti jeev' kehte hain.

pushti maarg mein bhakti ki bhi teen prakaar ki avadhaaranaaeain hain- pravaah pushti bhakti, maryaada pushti bhakti aur shuddh pushti bhakti. 'pravaah pushti bhakti' ke antargat janm maran ke chakr mein baindha bhakt ishvar ka smaran karta hua kramik moksh praapt karta hai. 'maryaada pushti bhakti' ke antargat bhakt shaastron se brahm gyaan praapt karne ke baad Bhagwan ki or unmukh hota hai aur moksh ki or badhta hai. 'shuddh pushti bhakti' mein bhakt swayam ko poornataya Bhagwan ki sharan mein samarpit kar deta hai. yahaaain Bhagwan apne bachche ki tarah bhakt ka paalan karte hain. Bhagwan ke charanon mein poornataya samarpit bhakt Bhagwan ke sneh ka bhaajan banta hai. shuddh pushti bhakt ki mukti sabse shuddh, saral aur sugam hoti hai. Bhagwan ki sharan me aate hi bhakt ke saare du:kh door ho jaate hain. pushti maargi bhakti ko maadhurya bhakti, premaabhakti ya raagaanuga bhakti kehte hain. is bhakti mein shrungaar ke svaroop ka aadhyaatmik roopaantar hota hai. yahaaain Bhagwan Krishna bhakt ke ekamaatr avalanban hote hain, jabki jeev aur gopiyaaain aashray. bhakti ke vikaas ke teen charan hote hain-prem, aasakti aur vyasan. vyasan is prem ki charam avastha hai, jahaaain pahuainchakar bhakt ko Bhagwan ke siva kuchh nazar naheen aata.
