maana jaata hai ki parashuraam ne 21 baar haihayavanshi kshatriyon ko samool nasht kiya tha. kshatriyon ka ek varg hai jise haihayavanshi samaaj kaha jaata hai yeh samaaj aaj bhi hai. isi samaaj mein ek raaja hue the sahastraarjun. parashuraam ne isi raaja aur inke putr aur pautron ka vadh kiya tha aur unhein iske liye 21 baar yuddh karna pada tha.

yuddh ka kaaran: rishi vashishth se shaap ka bhaajan banane ke kaaran sahastraarjun ki mati maari gayi thi. sahastraarjun ne parashuraam ke pita jamadagni ke aashram mein ek kapila kaamadhenu gaaya ko dekha aur use paane ki laalasa se vah kaamadhenu ko balapoorvak aashram se le gaya. jab parashuraam ko yeh baat pata chali to unhonne pita ke sammaan ke khaatir kaamadhenu vaapas laane ki sochi aur sahastraarjun se unhonne yuddh kiya. yuddh mein sahastraarjun ki sabhi bhujaaeain kat gain aur vah maara gaya.
