naamaaj (urdoo: نaaمaaاaaز) ya salaah (arabi: صaaلaaوaaة), namaaj faarasi shabd hai, jo urdoo mein arabi shabd salaat ka paryaaya hai. Quraan shareef mein salaat shabd baar-baar aaya hai aur pratyek musalmaan stri aur purush ko namaaj padhne ka aadesh taakeed ke saath diya gaya hai. islaam ke aaranbhakaal se hi namaaj ki pratha aur use padhne ka aadesh hai. yeh musalmaanon ka bahut bada kartavya hai aur ise niymapoorvak padhna punya tatha tyaag dena paap hai.

paaainch namaajein

pratyek musalmaan ke liye prati din paaainch samay ki namaaj padhne ka vidhaan hai.

  • namaaj -A-fajar (ushaakaal ki namaaj)-yeh pehli namaaj hai jo praat: kaal soorya ke udaya hone ke pehle padhi jaati hai.
  • namaaj-A-juhl (avanatikaal ki namaaj) yeh doosari namaaj hai jo madhyaahn soorya ke dhalana shuru karne ke baad padhi jaati hai.
  • namaaj -A-asr (divsaavasaan ki namaaj)- yeh teesari namaaj hai jo soorya ke ast hone ke kuchh pehle hoti hai.
  • namaaj-A-magarib (pashchim ki namaaj)- chauthi namaaj jo sooryaast ke turant baad hoti hai.
  • namaaj-A-asha (raatri ki namaaj)- antim paaainchaveen namaaj jo sooryaast ke dedh ghante baad padhi jaati hai.

vidhi

namaaj padhne ke pehle pratyek musalmaan vujoo (ardhasnaan) karta hai arthaat kuhaniyon tak haath ka dhota hai, muainh va naak saaf karta hai, poora mukh dhota hai. yadi namaaj kisi masjid mein ho rahi hai to "ajaaain" bhi di jaati hai. namaaj tatha ajaaain ke beech mein lagbhag 15 minton ka antar hota hai. urdoo mein ajaaain ka arth pukaar hai. namaaj ke pehle ajaaain isliye di jaati hai ki aas-paas ke musalmaanon ko namaaj ki soochana mil jaae aur ve saansaarik kaaryon ko chhodkar kuchh minton ke liye masjid mein khuda ka dhyaan karne ke liye aa jaaeain. namaaj akele bhi padhi jaati hai aur samooh ke saath bhi. yadi namaaj saath milkar padhi ja rahi hai to usamein ek manushya sabse aage khada ho jaata hai, jise imaam kehte hain aur bache log pankti baaaindhakar peechhe khade ho jaate hain. imaam namaaj padhta hai aur anya log usaka anugaman karte hain. namaaj padhne ke liye musalmaan makka ki or mukh karke khada ho jaata hai, namaaj ki ichha karta hai aur fir "Allah Akbar" kehkar takabeer kehta hai. iske anantar donon haathon ko kaanon tak uthaakar chhaati par naabhi ke paas baaaindh leta hai. vah bade sammaan se khada hota hai. vah samajhta hai ki vah khuda ke saamane khada hai aur khuda use dekh raha hai. kuchh duaa padhta hai aur Quraan shareef se kuchh lekh padhta hai, jismein faatih: (Quraan shareef ka pehla Bob) ka padhna aavashyak hai. ye lekh kabhi uchch tatha kabhi maddhim svar se padhe jaate hain. iske anantar vah jhukata hai, fir khada hota hai, fir khada hota hai, fir sajada mein gir jaata hai. kuchh kshanon ke anantar vah ghutanon ke bal baithata hai aur fir sijda mein gir jaata hai. fir kuchh der ke baad khada ho jaata hai. in sab kaaryon ke beech-beech vah chhoti-chhoti duaaeain bhi padhta jaata hai, jinmein Allah ki prashansa hoti hai. is prakaar namaaj ki ek rakaat samaapt hoti hai. fir doosari rakaat isi prakaar padhta hai aur sijda ke uparaant ghutanon ke bal baith jaata hai. fir pehle daain or muainh ferata hai aur tab baain or. iske anantar vah Allah se haath uthaakar duaa maaaingata hai aur is prakaar namaaj ki do rakaat poori karta hai adhiktar namaajein do rakaat karke padhi jaati hain aur kabhi-kabhi chaar rakaaton ki bhi namaaj padhi jaati hai. padhne ki chaal kam adhik yahi hai.

namaajon ki ahamiyt

Quraan apni ek aayat me bayaan farmaata hai:

"vastaa-inoo bissabare vasslaat"


ai imaan vaalon sabr aur namaajon se kaam lo

saaf jaahir hai namaaj khaalis bande ki aasaani ke liye Allah ki nemat hai. 5 namaajon ki misaal aisi hai, maano aapke dwaar par 5 pavitra nahare. din me 5 baar aap uname snaan kar ke kya apavitr rah sakte hain? vaise hi aap apne man ko in naharon me snaan karva duniya dvaara di gayi kalikh aur mail ko dho daalte hain. Allah ka dar aur usaki madad aap ko kaamayaab insaan banaane mein madad detein hain.

lugavi maani

namaaj ke lugavi maani "duaa" ke hain. farmaan-A-baari taala hai

anuvaad: A paignbar! un logon ke amvaal mein se sadaka vasool karalo jis ke jreeye tum unhein Pak krudvage aur un keliye baais-A-barakat banooge aur un keliye duaa karo. yakeenan! tumhaari duaa un keliye saraapa tasakeen hai aur Allah har baat sunata aur sab kuchh jaanta hai

jabki farmaan-A-nabavi silli Allah alaihi vasallam hai:

ja dai nahadakam fleejab fin kaan Simon fleesal-A-O- N kaan maftaran fleetaam[1]

aur Allah ki jaanib se "salaat" ke maani behatareen zikr ke hain jabki malaaika ki taraf se "salaat" ke maani duaa hi ke liye jaaainge. ishaad-A-baari taala hai:

إaaِaaنaaَaaّ اaaلaaلaaَaaّaaهaaَ وaaَaaمaaَaaلaaَaaاaaئaaِaaكaaَaaتaaَaaهaaُ يaaُaaصaaَaaلaaُaaّaaوaaنaaَ عaaَaaلaaَaaى اaaلaaنaaَaaّaaبaaِaaيaaِaaّ يaaَaaا أaaَaaيaaُaaّaaهaaَaaا اaaلaaَaaّaaذaaِaaيaaنaaَ آaaَaaمaaَaaنaaُaaوaaا صaaَaaلaaُaaّaaوaaا عaaَaaلaaَaaيaaْaaهaaِ وaaَaaسaaَaaلaaِaaّaaمaaُaaوaaا تaaَaaسaaْaaلaaِaaيaaمaaًaaا

anuvaad: beshak Allah aur is ke frishte nabi par darood bhejate hain. A imaan vaalo! tum bhi un par darood bhejo aur khoob salaam bheja karo

flasafa-A-namaaj

islaami kvaaneen aur dussah teer ke mukhtalif aur mutaaddid flasafe aur asbaab hain jin ki vajah se unhein vaja kiya gaya hai. in flasafon aur asbaab tak rasaai sirf vahi aur maadin vahi (rasool-O-aal-A-rasool (A)) ke jreeya hi mumkin hai. kuraaan majeed aur maasoomeen alaihim assalaam ki ahaadees mein baaaj kvaaneen islaami ke baaaj flasafa aur asbaab ki taraf ishaara kiya gaya hai. unhein dasto raat mein se ek namaaj hai jo saari ibaadaton ka markaj, mushkilaat aur sakhtiyon mein insaan ke taaadul-O-tavaajun ki muhaafij, momin ki meraaj, insaan ko buraaiyon aur munakiraat se rokane waali aur doosare aamaal ki kbooleeyat ki jaamin hai. Allah taaala is silsila mein ishaad framaate hain:

وaaَaaأaaَaaقaaِaaمaaِ اaaلaaصaaَaaّaaلaaَaaاaaةaaَ لaaِaaذaaِaaكaaْaaرaaِaaي

anuvaad: meri yaad ke liye namaaj kaayam karo
--al-kuraaan soorat taaha:14

is aayat ki roshani mein namaaj ka sab se aham flasafa yaad khuda hai aur yaad khuda hi hai jo mushkilaat aur sakht haalaat mein insaan ke dil ko aaraam aur itameenaan ata karti hai.

أaaَaaلaaَaaا بaaِaaذaaِaaكaaْaaرaaِ اaaلaaلaaَaaّaaهaaِ تaaَaaطaaْaaمaaَaaئaaِaaنaaُaaّ اaaلaaْaaقaaُaaلaaُaaوaaبaaُ

anuvaad: aagaah ho jaao ki yaad khuda se dil ko aaraam aur itameenaan haasil hota hai.

rasool khuda silli Allah alaihi aala vasallam ne bhi isi baat ki taraf ishaara framaaya hai:

namaaj aur haj-O-tavaaf ko is liye vaajib kraar diya gaya hai taaki zikr khuda (yaad khuda) muhakkik ho sake

shaheed mahiraab, imaam muttakeen hajrat Ali alaihi assalaam flasafa-A-namaaj ko is tarah byaan framaate hain:

khudaavand aalam ne namaaj ko is liye vaajib kraar diya hai taaki insaan takabbur se Pak-O-paakeeja ho jaaenamaaj ke jreeye khuda se kreeb ho jaao. namaaj gunaahon ko insaan se is tarah gira deti hai jaise darakht se sookhe patte girte hain, namaaj insaan ko (gunaahon se) is tarah aajaad kar deti haijaise jaanvaron ki gardan se rassi khol kar unhein aajaad kiya jaata hai hajrat Ali raji Allah anna

hajrat faatima jhara salaam Allah alaiha masjid nabavi mein apne taareekhi khutaba mein islaami dasto raat ke flasafa ko byaan framaate hue namaaj ke baare mein ishaara framaati pain:

khudaavand aalam ne namaaj ko vaajib kraar diya taaki insaan ko kibr-O-takabbur aur khud beeni se Pak-O-paakeeja kar de

hishaam bin hukm ne imaam jaafr saadik alaihi assalaam se savaal kiya : namaaj ka kya flasafa hai ki logon ko kaarobaar se rok diya jaaya aur un ke liye jhamat ka sabab bane? imaam alaihi assalaam ne is ke javaab mein framaaya:

namaaj ke bahut se flasafe hain unhein mein se ek ye bhi hai ki pehle log aajaad the aur khuda-O-rasool ki yaad se gaafil the aur un ke daramayaan sirf kuraaan tha ummat muslima bhi gujshata ummaton ki tarah thi kyonki unhon ne sirf deen ko ikhtiyaar kar rakha tha aur kitaab aur anabaya-A-ko chhod rakha tha aur un ko ktal tak kar dete the. nateeja mein in ka deen puraana (bairava) ho gaya aur un logon ko jahaan jaana chaahiye tha chale gaye. khudaavand aalam ne iraada kiya ki ye ummat deen ko fraamosh na kare lihaaja is ummat muslima ke oopar namaaj ko vaajib kraar diya taaki har roj paaainch baar aaainhajrat ko yaad karein aur un ka ism giraami jbaan par যaakb laaenge aur is namaaj ke jreeya khuda ko yaad karein taaki is se gaafil na ho sakein aur is khuda ko tark na kar diya jaaya

imaam raja alaihi assalaam flasafa-A-namaaj ke silsila mein yoon framaate hain:

namaaj ke vaajib hone ka sabab, khudaavand aalam ki khudaai aur usaki raboobiyt ka ikraar, shirk ki nafi aur insaan ka khudaavand aalam ki baaragaah mein khushoo-O-khujoo ke saath khada hona hai. namaaj gunaahon ka etaraaf aur gujshata gunaahon se talab afv aur tauba hai. sajada, khudaavand aalam ki taajeem-O-takareem ke liye khaak par chehara rakhana hai

namaaj sabab banti hai ki insaan hamesha khuda ki yaad mein rahe aur use bhoole naheen, naaframaani aur sarakashi na kare. khushoo-O-khujoo aur ragbat-O-shauk ke saath apne duniyaavi aur ukharavi hissa mein izaafa ka talabagaar ho. is ke ilaava insaan namaaj ke jreeya hamesha aur haravakt khuda ki baaragaah mein haajir rahe aur usaki yaad se sarashaar rahe. namaaj gunaahon se rokati aur mukhtalif buraaiyon se mana karti hai sajada ka flasafa groor-O-takabbur, khud khvaahi aur sarakashi ko khud se door karna aur khudaae vahida la shareek ki yaad mein rahana aur gunaahon se door rahana hai

namaaj akl aur vajadaan ke aaina mein

islaami hak ke ilaava ki jo muslamaan islaam ki vajah se ek doosare ki gardan par rakhate hain ek doosra hak bhi hai jis ko insaani hak kha jaata hai jo insaaniyat ki bina par ek doosare ki gardan par hai. unhein insaani hukook mein se ek hak, doosaron ki muhabbat aur nekiyon aur ehasaan ka shukriya ada karna hai agarache muslamaan na hooain. doosaron ke ehasaanaat aur nekiyaan hamaare oopar shukr yae ki jimmedaari ko aaid karti hain aur ye hak tamaam jbaanon, jaaton, millaton aur mulkon mein yakasaaain aur musaavi hai. lutaf aur neki jitni zyaada aur neki karne wala jitna ajeem-O-bujurg ho shukr bhi itna hi zyaada aur behtar hona chaahiye. kya khuda se zyaada koi aur hamaare oopar hak rakhata hai? naheen. is liye ki is ki neamatein hamaare oparabe shumaar hain aur khud is ka vajood bhi ajeem aur fyyaaj hai. khudaavand aalam ne ham ko ek jrre se takhleek kiya aur jo cheej bhi hamaari jrooreeyaat-A-jindagi mein se thi jaise, noor-O-roshani, haraarat, makaan, hua, paani, aaja-O-javaareh, guraavaj-O-kavaaya nafsaani, vaseea-O-areej kaayanaat, paude-O-nabaataat, haivaanaat, akl-O-hosh aur aatafa-O-muhabbat vagaira ko hamaare liye fraaham kiya. hamaari maaanavi tarbeeyat ke liye anabaya-A-alaihim assalaam ko bheja, nek bukhti aur saaadat ke liye aain vaja kiye, halaal-O-haraam mein frk vaajih kiya. hamaari maaddi jindagi aur ruhaani hayaat ko har tarah se duniyaavi aur ukharavi saaadat haasil karne aur kamaal ki manjil tak pahunchane ke vasaail fraaham kiye. khuda se zyaada kis ne hamaare saath neki aur ehasaan kiya hai ki is se zyaada is hak shukr ki adaayagi ka laayak aur sajaavaar ho. insaani vajeefa aur hamaari akl-O-vajadaan hamaare oopar laajim kraar deti hain ki ham us ki in neamaton ka shukr ada karein aur un nekiyon ke shukraana mein usaki ibaadat karein aur namaaj ada karein. chooainki vo hamaara khaalik hai, lihaaja ham bhi sirf usi ki ibaadat karein aur sirf isi ke bande rahein aur masharik-O-magrib ke gulaam na banein. namaaj khuda ki shukragujaari hai aur saahib vajadaan insaan namaaj ke vaajib hone ko druk karta hai. jab ek kutte ko ek haddi ke badle mein jo usako di jaati hai hakshanaasi karta hai aur dum hilaata hai aur agar chor ya ajnabi aadmi ghar mein daakhil hota hai to is par hamla karta hai to agar insaan paravaradigaar ki in tamaam neamaton se laaparavaah aur be tavajja ho aur shukr gujaari ke jajba se jo ki namaaj ki soorat mein jalavaagar hota hai bebahara ho to kya aisa insaan kdaradaani aur hakshanaasi mein kutte se past aur kamtar naheen hai.

anya namaajein

prati din ki paaainchon samay ki namaajon ke siva kuchh anya namaajein hain, jo samoohabaddh hain. pehli namaaj jummaa (shukravaar) ki hai, jo soorya ke dhalane ke anantar namaaj juhr ke sthaan par padhi jaati hai. ismein imaam namaaj padhaane ke pehle ek bhaashan deta hai, jise khutaba kehte hain. ismein Allah ki prashansa ke siva musalmaanon ko neki ka upadesh diya jaata hai. doosari namaaj idulafitr ke din padhi jaati hai. yeh musalmaanon ka vah tyohaar hai, jise urdoo mein Eid kehte hain aur ramajaan ke poore maheene roje (din bhar ka upavaas) rakhane ke anantar jis din naya chandrama (shukl dviteeya ka) niklata hai uske doosare din maanate hain. teesari namaaj Eid al aja ke avsar par padhi jaati hai. is Eid ko kurbaani ki Eid kehte hain. in dinon ke avsaron par nishchit namaajon ka samay sooryodaya ke anantar lagbhag baarah baje din tak rahata hai. ye namaajein saamaanya namaajon ki tarah padhi jaati hain. vibhinnata keval itni rahati hai ki inmein pehli rakaat mein teen baar aur doosari rakaat mein pun: teen baar adhik kaanon tak haath uthaana padta hai. namaaj ke anantar imaam khutaba deta hai, jismein neki va bhalaai karne ke upadesh rahate hain. kuchh namaajein aisi bhi hoti hain jinke na padhne se koi musalmaan doshi naheen hota. in namaajon mein sabse adhik mahatva tahajjud namaaj ko praapt hai. yeh namaaj raatri ke pichhle pahar mein padhi jaati hai. aaj bhi bahut se musalmaan is namaaj ko drudhta se padhte hain. islaam dharm mein namaaj jinaaja ka bhi bahut mahatva hai. iski haisiat praarthana si hai. jab kisi musalmaan ki mrutyu ho jaati hai tab use nahala dhulaakar shvet vastr se dhak dete hain, jise kafan kehte hain aur fir jinaaja ko masjid mein le jaate hain. vahaaain imaam jinaaja ke peechhe khada hota hai aur doosare log uske peechhe pankti baaaindhakar khade ho jaate hain. namaaj mein na koi jhukata hai aur na sijda karta hai, keval haath baaaindhakar khada rah jaata hai tatha duaa padhta hai.
