naaga (barmi : နaaာaaဂ, angreji: Naga) Bhaarat ki ek pramukh janajaati hain. inka nivaas kshetr Bhaarat ke poorvottar kshetr va myaanmaar ke pashchimottar kshetr mein hai. Bhaarat mein ye naagaalaind raajya mein bahusankhyak hai. 2012 mein yahaaain par inki sankhya 17 lakh darj ki gayi. iske alaava ye manipur, asam, arunaachal pradesh mein bhi inki achhi khaasi janasankhya hai.

vahi myaanmaar mein ye janajaati kuchh kshetron mein bahusankhyak hai. vahaaain par inke ilaakon ko svaayatt kshetr ghoshit kiya gaya hai jahaaain ka prashaasan ye khud hi sainbhaalate hai. in ilaakon ko naaga svaayatt kshetr kaha jaata hai.

1870 mein naaga janajaati ke vyakti

british kaal se pehle tak inka baahari duniya se koi bhi sampark naheen tha. 1828 tak asam british shaasan ke kabje mein aa gaya. parantu naaga janajaati lagaataar asam ke seemaavarti kshetro mein aakraman karti rahati. 1845 mein naaga saradaaron ke saath angejon ka samjhauta hua jiske tahat naaga aakraman band karne par raaji ho gaye. lekin uske baad samjhaute ka ullanghan hota raha.[1]

1851 mein angejon ne is kshetr (naagaalaind) mein apni sena tukadiyaan tainaat kar di. parantu 1878 mein angami naagaaon ne angreji kaimpon par fir se chhaape maare. iska javaab angrejon ne drudhataapoorvak diya aur kai naaga gaavon mein aag laga di.

isaai mishnareeyaan

1905 mein naaga janajaati ke vyakti

19 vi shataabdi ke ant mein yahaaain isaai mishnariyaan I aur bahut se naagaaon ka dharm parivartan kiya. at: in mishnariyon ne inke rahan sahan ko prabhaavit kiya. at: mishnariyon ne inke saamaajik aur saanskrutik roop ko badal daala.[2]

aaj lagbhag 95% naaga isaai hai.

alag desh ke liye sangharsh

angami japoo fijo ne naagaaon ke sangharsh ke liye naaga naishanal kaaunsil ka gathan kiya jiska uddeshya alag naaga raajya tha. June 1947 mein naaga naishanal kaaunsil ka angrajon se 9 sootri samjhauta hua parantu anekon naagaaon ne iska virodh kiya.[3]

british raaj ke antim din 14 August 1947 ko naaga naishanal kaaunsil ne naagaalaind ki svatantrata ghoshit kar di. May 1951 mein naaneka (naaga naishanal kaaunsil) ne daava kiya ki alag naagaalaind ke liye uske dvaara karaaye gaye janamat - sangrah mein 99% log uske saath hai. par 1952 mein Bhaarat sarkaar ne usaka daava khaarij kar diya. naaga ab Bhaarat ke khilaaf gurilla movement chalaane lage. parantu Bhaarat sarkaar ne usaka vidroh daba diya. baad mein fijo landan bhaag gaya aur vaha se yeh abhiyaan apni mrutyu tak chalaaya.[4]

inki pramukh bhaasha kuki-chin-naaga bhaashaaeain hai. iske alaava inhone kriyol bhaasha ka bhi vikaas kiya jiska ye prayog aapas mein baatcheet karne mein karte hai.

samaaj

ek naaga yoddha

paaramparik roop se naaga gaavon mein rahate hai. inka mukhya dhandha shikaar hai. ye jangali jaanvaron ka shikaar karte hai. ye apne ghar baas se banaate hai. ye yoddha janajaati hai. inki veerata ko hi dekh parakhakar inki shaadi hoti hai.

striyon ki dasha bhi is jaati kaafi achhi hai. inhein poorn svatantrata praapt hai.

lagbhag 95% naaga isaai hai. kuchh naaga samooh sarvaatmavaadi bhi hai.
