itihaas

sthaaneeya aakarshan

praacheen aadi badreenaaraayan shatrughn mandir

praacheen mandir pauraanik evam aitihaasik rup se muni ki reti ke liye ek pramukh sthal hai. yeh do manjila parking ke najadeek nav ghaat ke paas sthit hai. yahi vah sthaan hai jahaan se praacheenakaal mein kathin paidal chaar dhaam teerth yaatra shuru hoti thi.

brahamavidanyaapeeth shri Kailash aashram ki sthaapana varsh 1880 mein shreematsyaasvaami dhanaraaj gireeji mahaaraaj ne ki. aaj bhi ve aadarapoorvak aadi mahaaraaj ji ke naam se pukaare jaate hain. aam vishvaas hai ki unhein svapn mein Bhagwan Shiv ne aashram mein ek shivling ki sthaapana ka aadesh diya tha. iske atirikt tihri ke raaja ke anurodh par unhonne granthon ko surakshit rakhane ke liye ek bhavan khand ka nirmaan mahaamandaleshvar shreematsyaasvaami vidyaanand gireeji mahaaraaj ka aavaas hai. yahi shivling aaj bhi shri Abhinav chandreshvar Bhagwan (Shiv) ka rup dhaaran karta hai.

Ram jhula

222 feet lambe Ram jhula ka shubhaaranbh aprel 1986 mein kiya gaya jo muni ki reti ke ek chhor ko chinhit karta hai. kaaryaalayi taur par iska naam shivaanand jhula hai lekin riksha tatha taanga chaalakon ne ise Ram jhula kehna shuroo kar diya, choonki yeh Lakshman jhula ki tulana mein bada hai isliye unke bade bhaai ka naam Ram ke aadhaar par yeh Ram jhula pukaara jaane laga.

svaami dayaanand aashram ka buniyaadi kaarya svaami dayaanand svarasvati (19veen sadi ke mahaan sudhaarak ke naam par rakha gaya jinhonne aarya samaaj ki sthaapana ki) dvaara varsh 1963 mein shuru kiya gaya tatha varsh 1982 mein iska nirmaan kaarya poora hua. muni ki reti mein puraani jhaadi ya sheesham jhaadi mein avasthit yeh aashram vaidik shikshan ke saath-saath vibhinn prakaar ke dharmaarth kaaryakalaapon ka kendra raha hai.

Baba mastaraam gufa

Baba mastaraam muni ki reti ke suvikhyaat aur jaane-maane naam hai. inhonne apna jeevan nisvaarth seva mein bita diya. varsh 1987 mein inka nidhan ho gaya. ganga tat par sthit jis gufa mein ve aajeevan rahe, vah ab shahar ka aitihaasik sthaan hai. unke shishya aur darshanaarthi ise dekhne aate hain. yeh kaha jaata hai ki Baba mastaraam, jo gufa mein saadhana karne mein apna samay bitaate the, apne milne vaalon ko samaaj seva ka paath padhaaya karte the. vah gufa se tabhi baahar nikalte the jab nadi ka paani oopar chadhta tha. tab, ve aashram mein raha karte the.

niktavarti aakarshan

Lakshman jhula

praacheen mat ke anusaar lanka vijay ke baad jab Bhagwan Ram apne bhaai Lakshman ke saath himaalaya ki teerth yaatra par nikle to Lakshman ne praarthana sthaan ke rup mein isi jagah ko chuna tatha vishaal ganga ko paar karne ke liye rassi ka upayog kiya. unke sammaan svarup rassi ke ek jhula ka nirmaan kiya gaya jo varsh 1809 tak maujud tha. Calcutta ke nivaasi seth surajamal ke daan shashi se ek anya rassi ke pool ka nirmaan karaaya gaya. jo ki 1924 ki baad mein bah gaya varsh 1930 mein ek anya lohe ke taaron se bane 140 meter lambe pul ne usaki jagah le li, ise hi aaj Lakshman jhula kehte hain. jab aap jhula paar kar rahe hon, aap jhula ke neeche bahti ganga nadi ke sundar drushya ka aanand lein lekin aap vichaaron mein na kho jaaen balki apne saamaanon ka bhi dhyaan rakhein kyonki is kshetr mein faile bandar aapko pareshaan kar sakte hain.

Lakshman mandir

praacheen Lakshman mandir, Lakshman jhula ke kareeb sthit hai. saalon bhar yaatri is mandir mein darshan ke liye aate hain. yeh rishikesh se chaar kilometer ki doori par sthit hai. is mandir mein Lakshman ki pauraanik pratima hai jo logon ko dheeraj deti hai. lokamat ke anusaar is mandir ka punarudvaar varsh 1885 mein hua. iske pauraanik mahatva ke kaaran Lakshman jhoola aane vaale teerth yaatri, yahaan bhi aate hain.

svarg aashram

rishikesh

chandrabhaag tatha ganga nadi ke milan sthal par rishikesh sthit hai, jo santo ke sthaan ke roop mein jaana jaata hai. aisa maana jaata hai ki ramiya rishi ke tapasya ka uttar dene ke liye Bhagwan hrushikesh ke vesh mein upasthit hue aur isi ghatna se is sthaan ka naam mila. is bindu se ganga apni pahaadi sthaanon ko chhodkar uttari Bhaarat ke vishaal maidaanon mein pahunchati hai.

neelakanth mahaadev

neelakanth rishikesh mein svarg aashram ke oopar ek pahaadi me 1,675 meter ki oonchaai par avasthit hai. muni ki reti se yeh sadak maarg se 50 ki॰mee॰ aur naav dvaara ganga paar karne par 25 ki॰mee॰ ki doori par avasthit hai.

neelakanth mahaadev kshetr ke sabse poojya mandiron mein se ek hai. yeh kaha jaata hai ki neelakanth mahaadev vah sthaan hai jahaan Bhagwan Shiv ne samudra manthan ke dauraan vish peeya tha. unki patni, paarvati ne unka gala dabaaya jisse ki vish unke pet tak naheen pahunche. is tarah, vish unke gale mein bana raha. is kaaran unka gala neela pad gaya. neelakanth naam isi par aadhaarit hai.

atyant prabhaavashaali yeh mandir Bhagwan Shiv ko samarpit hai. iski nakkaashi dekhte hi banti hai. atyant manohaari mandir shikhar ke tal par samudra manthan ka drushya chitrit kiya gaya hai ; aur garbh gruh ke pravesh-dwaar par ek vishaal peinting mein Bhagwan Shiv ko vish peete bhi dikhlaaya gaya hai. garbh gruh mein fotograafi karne par sakht pratibandh hai. mandir ke nikat ek laghu jal prapaat bhi hai. neelakanth mahaadev ke raaste mein gadhvaal mandal vikaas nigam ek chhote se suvidha-kendra ka parichaalan bhi karta hai jahaan aap apne aap ko tarotaaja kar sakte hain. saamane ki pahaadi par Shiv ki patni, paarvati ko samarpit mandir hai.

garood chatti jalaprapaat

neelakanth mahaadev ke raaste mein muni ki reti se 5 kilomeetaron ki doori par avasthit garood chatti jalaprapaat ek chhota sa - lagbhag 20 feet oonchaai ka - lekin atyant khoobsoorat jalaprapaat hai. aapko jalaprapaat tak pahunchane ke liye muni ki reti se lagbhag 750 meetaron ki chadhaai chadhni padegi.

apusht khabaron ke anusaar, taaitainik ki sheersh naayika, Kate vinsalet ne May, 1998 mein rishikesh ka bhraman kiya tha aur is jalaprapaat mein snaan kiya tha. iske parinaamasvaroop kai log ise Kate vinsalet jalaprapaat kah kar sambodhit karte hain!

needgaddu jalaprapaat

needgaddu jalaprapaat pahunchana to mushkil hai lekin, agar aapke paas shaareerik damakham hai to yahaan pahuncha ja sakta hai. yeh muni ki reti se badreenaath ke raaste mein 15 kilomeetaron ki doori par avasthit hai. aakhir ke 3 kilometer chunauti pesh karte hain kyonki aapko aage ke oonche-neeche bhoo-bhaag mein chadhaai chadhni padegi.

kunjaapuri siddhapeeth

muni ke reti se 28 ki.mi., Narendra nagar se 13 ki.mi. oonchaai : samudra se 1,665 meter devi kunjaapuri maan ko samarpit maan kunjaapuri devi mandir se darshanaarthi gadhvaal pahaadiyon ke ramaneeya drushya ko dekh sakte hain. aap kai mahatvapoorn chotiyon jaise uttar disha mein sthit bandarapanch (6,320 mi.), svargaarohini (6,248 mi.), gangotri (6,672 mi.) aur chaukhambha (7,138 mi.) ko dekh sakte hain. dakshin disha mein yahaan se rishikesh, haridvaar aur in ghaati jaise kshetron ko dekha ja sakta hai. yeh mandir uttaraakhand mein avasthit 51 siddh peethon mein se ek hai. mandir ka saral shvet pravesh dwaar mein ek board pradarshit kiya gaya hai jismein yeh likha gaya hai ki yeh mandir ko 197veen field regiment (Kargil) dvaara bheint di gayi hai. mandir tak teen sau aath kankreet seedhiyaan pahunchati hain. vaastavik pravesh ki paharedaari sher, jo devi ki savaari hain aur haathi ke mastakon dvaara ki ja rahi hai. kunjaapuri mandir apne aap mein hi shvetamaya hai. haalaanki, iske kuchh hisse chamakeele rangon mein range gaye hain. is mandir ka 01 October 1979 se 25 fravari 1980 tak naveekaran kiya gaya tha mandir ke garbh gruh mein koi pratima naheen hai - vahaan gaddha hai - kaha jaata hai ki yeh vahi sthaan hai jahaan kunja gira tha. yaheen par pooja ki jaati hai, jabki devi ki ek chhoti si pratima ek kone mein rakhi hai.

jagannaath rath yaatra

prativrsh aktubar mein muni ki reti mein udeesa ke puri ki prasidv jagannaath rath yaatra ka laghurup manaaya jaata hai. yeh yaatra madhuban aashram se shuru hoti hai, jahaan Bhagwan ko rath par bithaaya jaata hai aur yeh sthaaneeya nivaasiyon tatha aagantuk bhakton ke bheed ke saath dheere-dheere muni ki reti hoti hui rishikesh ki or badhti hai. sampoorn yaatra mein pooja-paath chalta rahata hai evam rath ko rassiyon se bhaktagan dvaara kheencha jaata hai. log is utsav mein rath peechhe-peechhe tyohaar ke vastr pahanakar naachate-gaate huai chalte hain.

vikaas mela

subhaash chandr Bose ka janm din prativrsh 23 January ko mela ke rup mein manaaya jaata hai. yeh utsav jo araajaneetik yuva varg dvaara aayojit kiya jaata hai mein lokanrutya tatha sangeet ka kaaryakram bhi hota hai. saath hi vyaapaar vrudvi ke liye kai staul bhi lagaae jaate hain.

ganga mahotsav

aktubar 2006 mein pehli baar muni ki reti mein nav ghaat par ganga mahotsav shuru karne ka vichaar kiya ja raha hai jismein ganga nadi ke jal mein tairata hua stage taiyaar kiya jaayega. teen dinon tak chalne vaale aayojan mein lok nrutya, sangeet tatha bhajan sandhya dvaara ganga ko sammaanit kiya jaayega.

niktatak havaai adda deharaadoon sthit jolly graant hai jo 17 kilometer doori par hai.

train dvaaraa:

aap haridvaar (jo vahaan se 27 kilometer door hai) jaane waali kai trainon se kisi ek train mein ja sakte hain, rishikesh (3 kilometer door) ya derahaadun (51 kilometer door) se bhi ja sakte hain.

sadak maarg dvaaraa:

aap bas ya ek taxi se yaatra kar sakte hain ya kisi najadeeki railway steinshan se tempo ya auto se bhi pahunch sakte hain.
