gori raajavansh ki neev ala-ud-deen jahaanasoj ne rakhi aur san 1161 mein uske dehaant ke baad usaka putr saif-ud-deen gori sinhaasan par baitha. apne marne se pehle ala-ud-deen jahaanasoj ne apne do bhateejon - shahaab-ud-deen (jo aamtaur par muhammad gori kahalaata hai) aur giyaas-ud-deen - ko kaid kar rakha tha lekin saif-ud-deen ne unhein riha kar diya.[1] us samay gori vansh gjnaviyon aur salajookon ki adheenata se nikalne ke prayaas mein tha. unhonne gjnaviyon ko to 1148-1149 mein hi khtm kar diya tha lekin salajookon ka tab bhi jor tha aur unhonne kuchh kaal ke liye gor praant par seedha kbja kar liye tha, haalaanki uske baad use goriyon ko vaapas kar diya tha.

salajookon ne jab is kshetr par niyantran kiya tha jo unhonne saif-ud-deen ki patni ke jevar bhi le liye the. gaddi grahan karne ke baad ek din saif-ud-deen ne kisi sthaaneeya sardaar ko yeh jevar pahane dekh liya aur taish mein aakar use maar daala. jab mrutak ke bhaai ko kuchh maheeno baad mauka mila to usane saif-ud-deen ko badle mein bhaala marakar maar daala. is tarah saif-ud-deen ka shaasanakaal keval ek varsh ke aaspaas hi raha.[1] giyaas-ud-deen naya shaasak bana aur uske chhote bhaai shahaab-ud-deen ne usaka raajya vistaar karne mein usaki bahut vafaadaari se madad curry. shahaab-ud-deen (urf muhammad gori) ne pehle gjna par kbja kiya, fir 1175 mein multaan aur ooch par aur fir 1186 mein Lahore par. jab usaka bhaai 1202 mein mara to shahaab-ud-deen muhammad gori sulataan ban gaya.

is bhram ke liye ki muhammad Gauri ka pruthveeraaj chauhaan se 16 baar yuddh hua tha. krupya Mehmood gjnavi ka lekh dekhein.
