lodhi (ya lodha, lodh) Bhaarat me paayi jaane waali ek kisaan jaati hai. ye madhya pradesh me bahutaayat me paaye jaate hai, jahaan yeh log uttar pradesh se visthaapit hokar aa base hai.[1] lodhi 'anya pichhde varg' ki ek jaati hai, parantu is jaati ke log raajapooto se sanbadhit hone ka daava karte hai tatha 'lodhi-rajput' kahalaana pasand karte hai . [2] jabki, inke rajput mool se uddhrut hone ka koi saakshya nahi hai aur na hi in logo me rajput paranparaae prachalit hai.[3]

british shaasan ke ek prashaasak, Robert ven rusel ne lodhi shabd ke kai sambhav shaabdik arthon ka jikr kiya hai, udaharanaarth lodh vruksh ke patton se rango ka nirmaan karne ka kaarya karne ke kaaran ye log lodhi kahalaae. rusel ne yeh bhi kaha hai ki 'lodha' mool shabd hai jo ki baad me madhya pradesh me 'lodhi' me roopaantarit ho gaya. .[4] ek anya siddhaant ke anusaar, lodhi apne gruh nivaas Punjab ke ludhiyaana shahar ke naam se lodhi kahalaae. british sroto me lodhiyon ko uttar Bhaarat se visthaapit hona bataaya gaya hai,jaha se yeh log madhya Bhaarat me aa base. aisa karne me unke saamaajik star ka utthaan hua, aur yeh log braahman, baniya va rajput aadi se neeche ke sthaaneeya shaasak tatha jameedaar bane. iname se kuchh bade jameendaar ' thaakur' ki padavi paane me saksham rahe, tatha damoh va saagar jilo me kuchh lodhi parivaaro ko panna ke muslim shaasak dvaara raaja, deevaan va lanbaradaar karaar diya gaya.[5] is tarah shaktishaali bane lodhiyon ne bundela utthaan me mahatvapoorn bhoomika nibhaai.[6]

1857 ki kraanti

1857 ki kraanti me, lodhi Bhaarat ke vibhinn bhaago me angrejo ke khilaaf lade. hindoriya ka lodhi taalukadaar jile ke mukhya kaaryaalaya ki taraf kooch karne va khajaane ko lootane me shaamil tha, jabki sharapura aadi ke lodhiyon ne sthaaneeya police ke chhakake chhudaaye.[7] mandala ka raamagadh parivaar angrejo ke khilaaf banduke uthaane ke kaaran dandit hua tatha 97 gaavon ki gughari riyaasat lodhiyon se chheen kar angrejo ke samarthak ek sthaaneeya adhikaari ko saup di gayi.[8] is sab ke vipreet, narsinhapur ke lodhiyon ne saagar se aae huye bhaarateeya kraantikaariyon ka virodh kiya,[9] aisa hi lamajheera ke Rao soorat Singh lodhi ke sainiko ne bhi kiya tha parantu ve kraantikaariyon ke haathon buri tarah se paraajit huye.[10][11]

1911 ki Bhaarat ki janaganana ke baad, lodhi raajanaitik roop se ekajut hona shuroo huye tatha 1921 ki janaganana se poorv unhone 'fatehagadh' ke ek sammelan me 'lodhi rajput' naam ke liye daava kiya.[12] 1929 ke sammelan me, " akhil bhaarateeya lodhi kshatriya(rajput) mahaasabha' bani.[13] shataabdi ke pratham bhaag me lodheeyon ke rajput ya kshatriya daave ke saarthan me kai pustake prakaashit ki gayi, jinme 1912 ki "mahalodhi vivechana" va 1936 ki "lodhi rajput itihaas" pramukh hai.[14]

lodheshvar mahaadev

uttar pradesh ke baaraabanki jile ke raamanagar tahaseel mein mahaadeva naamak gaanv mein mahaabhaarat kaaleen Shiv mandir hai, jo lodhi jaati ke ishtadev lodheshvar naam se vikhyaat hai.[krupaya uddharan jodein]
