kaufi (arab. قaaهaaوaaة khava uttejak peya padaarth) — ek lokapriya peya padaarth (saadhaaranataya garm) hai, jo kaufi ke ped ke bhune hue beejon se banaaya jaata hai. kaufi mein kaifeen hone ke kaaran vah halke uddeepak sa prabhaav daalati hai. iske vishay mein vaigyaaniko ka koi nishchit mat naheen hain. jahaaain ek or kaha jaata hai ki kaufi se shukraanuon ki sakriyta badhti hai[1] vaheen doosari or kuchh adhyayanon mein yeh bhi pata chala hai ki adhik kaufi peene se matibhram bhi ho sakta hai.[2]
