jai ek fasal hai. iska upayog anaaj, pashuon ke daane tatha hare chaare ke liye hota hai.

Bhaarat mein jai ki jaatiyaaain mukhyat: aivana sataaiva (Avena sativa) tatha aivana sterilis (A. sterilis) vansh ki hain. yeh Bhaarat ke uttari bhaagon mein utpann hoti hain.

jai ki kheti ke liye sheegra pakanevaali khareef ki fasal kaatne ke baad chaar-paaainch jotaaiyaaain karke, 125-150 man gobar ki khaad prati ekad deni chaahiye. October-November mein 40 ser prati ekad ki dar se beej bona chaahiye. iski do baar sinchaai ki jaati hai. hare chaare ke liye do baar kataai, January ke aanrabh tatha February mein, ki jaati hai. doosari sinchaai pratham chaare ki kataai ke baad karni chaahiye. hare chaare ki upaj 200-250 man tatha daane ki 15-20 man prati ekad hoti hai.
