faarasi-arabi lipi ya sirf faarasi lipi (اaaلaaفaaبaaاaaی فaaاaaرaaسaaی, alifbaai faarasi) arabi lipi par aadhaarit ek lipi hai jiska prayog faarasi, urdoo, sindhi, punjabi aur anya bhaashaaoain ko likhne ke liye kiya jaata hai. iska ijaad mukhya roop se isliye hua kyonki faarasi mein kuchh dhvaniyaaain hain jo arabi bhaasha mein naheen hain isliye unhein darshaane ke liye arabi lipi mein kuchh nae aksharon ko jodna pada.[1]

faarasi ki dhvaniyaaain

arabi bhaasha mein 'p', 'ch', 'g' aur 'jh' ki dhvaniyaaain naheen milteen jo faarasi mein maujood hain. inmein 'jh' ke uchchaaran par dhyaan dein kyonki yeh 'jh', 'j' aur 'za' teenon se alag hai (yeh telivijhn ya ajhdaha ke 'jh' ki tarah hai). inke liye binduon aur chhote chinhon ke jriye chaar nae akshar jode gaye - پ (p), چ (ch), گ (g) aur ژ (jh).

urdoo-hindi ki dhvaniyaaain

in faarasi dhvaniyon ke alaava urdoo-hindi mein bhi kuchh atirikt dhvaniyaaain thi jinhein darshaane ki jrurat thi - 't', 'd', 'd'. inke liye ٹ (t), ڈ (d) aur ڑ (d) aksharon ka ijaad kiya gaya.

pashto ki dhvaniyaaain

pashto mein 'sh' ki dhvani hoti hai jo in anya bhaashaaoain mein naheen milti. dhyaan deejiye ki pashto mein 'sh' ka uchchaaran vaisa hota hai jaisa mool sanskrut mein hota tha aur yeh 'sh' se bhinn hai. iske liye ښ (sh) akshar lipi mein joda gaya.
