dishtadhaara motor (DC motor) vidyut machine hai jo vidyut oorja ko yaantrik oorja mein badalti hai.

deesi motor mein bahut se aapas mein sambaddh chaalakon ka tantr rahata hai, jo ek aarmechar (armature) par aaropit hota hai. aarmechar, naram lohe ki bahut si pattikaaon (plates) ko jodkar bana hota hai aur belanaakaar (cylindrical) hota hai. ismein chaaron or khaaainche kate hue hote hain, jinmein chaalak samoohon ko kundali athva dandon ke roop mein rakha jaata hai. in chaalakon ko, ek nishchit yojana ke anusaar, aapas mein ek doosare se sambaddh kiya jaata hai. is nishchit kram ko aarmechar kundalan (armature winding) kehte hain. vibhinn prakaar ke kundalanon ke vishisht lakshan hote hain, jinke vishisht prakaar ke kundalanon ke vishisht lakshan hote hain, nike vishisht laabh hote hain. chunbakeeya kshetr bhi ek doosare chaalak samooh mein se dhaara ko pravaahit kar praapt kiya jaata hai. disht dhaara motaron ke aarmechar chaalakon mein dhaara burushon dvaara le jaai jaati hai. ye burush, vastut: aarmechar se sambaddh dikparivrtak (commutator) par aaropit hote hain aur sanbharan se sambaddh hote hain. chunbakeeya kshetr utpann karanevaale kundalanon se sambaddh hote hain. chunbakeeya kshetr utpann karanevaale kundalanon ko saamaanyat: kshetr kundali (Field coil) kehte hain. ye kundaliyaaain aarmechar kundalan se shreni mein sambaddh ya samaantar mein sambaddh ya samaantar mein sambaddh ho sakte hain. yeh bhi ho sakta hai ki unke kuchh kundalan shreni mein hon aur kuchh samaantar mein.

kshetr kundalan ke is prakaar sanyojan ke aadhaar par teen vibhinn praroop ke disht dhaara motor praapt hote hain-

  1. shreni motor (Series Motor),
  2. shant motor (Shunt motor), tatha
  3. sanyukt motor (Compound motor).

shreni motor mein jo dhaara aarmechar mein se hokar pravaahit hoti hai, vahi kshetr kundali mein bhi pravaahit hoti hai. at:, iski kshetr kundali mein mote taar ke bahut kam kundalan hote hain. shant motor mein poorn dhaara ka kuchh ansh hi kshetr kundali mein hokar bahata hai, jo uske aarapaar boltata tatha kundalan ke pratirodh par nirbhar karta hai. at: isi kshetr kundali mein bahut patale taar ke bahut adhik kundalan hote hain, jisse is kundali ka pratirodh saamaanyat: kai sau om hota hai.
