kisi vastu ka digansh (aijimuth) darshak se maanak disha aur darshak se us vastu ki do lakeeron ke beech ka kon (aingal) hota hai - is chitr mein maanak disha uttar (N) hai aur jis vastu ka digansh bataaya ja raha hai vah ek taara hai

digansh ya aijimuth (azimuth) kisi goleeya nirdeshaank pranaali (spherical coordinate system) mein ek vishesh kon (aingal) ke maap ka naam hai.

digansh ka prayog naukaavahan, khagolashaastr, abhiyaantriki aur sainya kshetr mein misaail ityaadi ki udaan nirdhaarit karne ke liye bahut hota hai. digansh ek kon hai isliye iska maap aamtaur par degree (°) mein kiya jaata hai.
