siriya mein basara sthit romakaaleen naatyashaala : dhvaniki ke siddhaanton ka praacheen kaal se hi upayog hota aa raha hai.

dhvaniki (Acoustics) bhautiki ki vah shaakha hai jiske antargat dhvani tarango, apashravya tarangon evam paraashravya tarangon sahit thos, drav evam gaison mein sanchaarit hone waali sabhi prakaar ki yaantrik tarangon ka adhyayan kiya jaata hai.

dhvani ki utpatti dravyapindon ke dolan dvaara hoti hai. is dolan se vaayu ki daab evam ghanatv mein pratyaavarti (alternating) parirvatan hone lagte hain, jo apne srot se ek vishesh veg ke saath aage badhte hain. inko hi dhvani ki tarang kaha jaata hai. jab ye tarangein kaan ke parade se takaraati hain, tab dhvani-sanvedan hota hai. in tarangon ki visheshata yeh hai ki inmein paraavartan, apavartan (refraction) tatha vivrtan (diffraction) ho sakta hai. prati second dolan sankhya ko aavruti (frequency) kehte hain.

manushya ka kaan ek seemit paraas ki aavrutiyon ko hi sun sakta hai, kintu aajkal aisi tarangein bhi utpann ki ja sakti hai jiska kaan ke parade par koi asar naheen hota. kaan ki seema se adhik paraas ki aavrutiyon ki dhvani ko paraashravya tarangein kehte hain. bahut se jaanavar, jaise chamagaadad, paraashravya dhvani sun sakte hain. aadhunik samay mein shravya tatha paraashravya donon prakaar ki dhvaniyon ki aavrutiyon ko ek badi seema ke bheetar utpann kiya, pahachaana aur maapa ja sakta hai.
