Bhagwan vishnu hindu trimoorti(teen maha devataao) mein se ek hai. nirmaan ki yojana ke anusaar, ve brahmaand ke nirmaan ke baad, usaka vightan tak usaki sanrakshan karte hai. Bhagwan vishnu ke das avataar ko sanyukt roop se dashaavataar kaha jaata hai.

avataarein yug pranaali ki avadhaarana ke samaan hai jo hindu kaileindadar mein brahmaandeeya samay ke aadhaar se ek ikaai hai. ek ikaai ya yug 4,000,000,000 saal hain.

jab maanav anyaaya or adharm ki gandagi ke beech mein kho jaata hai, tab Bhagwan vishnu usko sahi raasta dikhaate hai. pratyek chakr ke ant mein jab achhaai buraai pe jeetati hai, tab vightan hota hai.

shreemadbhagavadgeeta mein kaha gaya hai :

yada yada hi dharmasya glaanirbhavati Bhaarat
abhyuthaanaam adharmasya tadaatmaanam srujaamyaham.

shri Krishna arjun se kehte hai ki jab bhi dharmi aacharan mein kami ho or adharm vyavahaar ka vruddhi ho, main swayam ko prakat karooainga.

shreemadbhagavadgeeta mein ek or shlok :

paritraanaaya saadhunaam vinaashaaya ch dushkrutaam
dharmasansthaapanaarthaaya sanbhavaami yuge-yuge.

Krishna Bhagwan kehte hai ki achhaai ki suraksha ke liye, buri taakaton ke vinaash ke liye, or dharm drud sthaapana ke liye main har yug mein paida hua hooain. shreemadbhagavadgeeta ka udaaharan liya gaya hai kyonki shri Krishna, Bhagwan vishnu ka hi avataar purush hai.

Bhagwan vishnu ke das avataar hai :

  5. vaaman
  6. parashuraam
  7. Ram
  8. Krishna
  9. buddh
  10. kalki

pehle teen avataar, yaani matsya, koorm or varaah pehle yug mein avateern hue. pehla yug satya yug ya krut yug hai. narasinh, vaaman, parashuraam or Ram doosare yaani tretaayug mein avateern hone ko maana jaata hai. Krishna or balaraam dvaapar yug mein aae. chal raha aayu kaliyug hai or Bhagwat puraan ke bhavishyavaani ke aadhaar par is yug ke ant mein kalki avataar ka avateern hoga. isse duniya ke vinaashakaari or buri taakaton ka ant hoga or nai srujan hoga jisse satya yug ka fir se sthaapana hoga.

hindu parivesh mein dashaavataar ka kaafi had tak sveekaar ki gayi soochi hai : matsya, koorm, varaah, narasinh, vaaman, parashuraam, Ram, Krishna, buddh, kalki. maamooli antar ke saath vibhinn anya soochiyaaain hai jo praathamik aastha or kshetr ke aadhaar par alag hai.

udaaharan ke liye, kuchh dhaarmik samoohon ko Krishna hi paramaatma hai or dashaavataar Krishna ke hi das avataar hai, or soochi mein Krishna naheen aate. kuchh log balaraam ko ek avataar maanate hai, buddh ko naheen. lekin itihaas ke anusaar maamooli taur par balaraam ko aadisesh (vishnu ke vishraam saaainp) ka avataar maana jaata hai.

dashaavataar ke baare mein anya atkalon mein, kuchh log avataaron ki kram ko yuktisangat banaane ki koshish mein, unhein vikaasavaadi aur daarvin yojana se jodte hai. ve kehte hain ki avataar jalachar se bhoomi, aadhe-jaanavar se viksit maanav; krushi samaaj se 'audyogik' samaaj ke aadmi ke aadhaar par badalta hai aur is kaaran se manushya ka ant hota hai. aur vightan ke baad fir se srujan ki shuruvaat hoti hai.
