chane ki hi ek kism ko kaabuli chana ya prachalit bhaasha mein chhole bhi kaha jaata hai. ye halke baadaami rang ke kaale chane se apekshaakrut bade hote hain. ye afgaanistaan, dakshini Europe, uttari afreeka aur chili mein paae jaate rahe hain. bhaarateeya upamahaadveep mein atthaarahaveen sadi se laae gaye hain, va prayog ho rahe hain.[1]

- beej ki maatraa: mote daanon wala chana 80-100 ki.gra. prati hekteyar ; saamaanya daanon wala chanaa: 70-80 ki.gra. prati hekteyar
- beej upachaar: beemaariyon se bachaav ke liye theeram ya baavisteen 2.5 gram prati ki.gra. beej ke hisaab se upachaarit karein. raaijobiym teeka se 200 gram teeka prati 35-40 ki.gra. beej ko upachaarit karein.
- urvarak: urvarakon ka prayog mitti pareekshan ke aadhaar par karein.

- natrajan: 20 ki.gra. prati hekteyar (100 ki.gra. daai amoniym faasfet)
- faasforas: 50 ki.gra. prati hekteyar
- jink salfet: 25 ki.gra. prati hekteyar
- buaai ki vidhi: chane ki buaai kataaron mein karein. gaharaai: 7 se 10 sein.mi. gaharaai par beej daalein. kataar se kataar ki dooree: 30 sein.mi. (desi chane ke liye) ; 45 sein.mi. (kaabuli chane ke liye)
- kharapatavaar niyantran:
fralooklorelin 200 gram (sakriya tatv) ka buaai se pehle ya peindeemethaaleen 350 gram (sakriya tatv) ka ankuran se pehle 300-350 liter paani mein ghol banaakar ek ekad mein chhidkaav karein. pehli niraai-gudaai buaai ke 30-35 din baad tatha doosari 55-60 din baad aavashyakataanusaar karein.
- sinchaai: yadi khet mein uchit nami na ho to paleva karke buaai karein. buaai ke baad khet mein nami na hone par do sinchaai, buaai ke 45 din evam 75 din baad karein.

yeh keet chane ki fasal ko sabse jyaada nuksaan pahunchaata hai. isse bachaav ke liye 125 mi.li. saaiparamaithreen (25 E. si.) ya 1000 mi.li. kaarbaaril (50 dablyoo.pi.) ko 300-400 liter paani mein ghol banaakar us samay chhidkaav karein jab keeda dikhaai dene lage. yadi jaroori ho to 15 din baad dobaara chhidkaav karein.
- uktha rog:
is rog se bachaav ke liye upachaarit karke hi beej ki buaai karein tatha buaai 25 October se pehle na karein.
- jad galan:
is rog ke prabhaav ko kam karne ke liye rogagrast paudhon ko jyaada na badhne dein. rogagrast paudhon evam unke avashesh ko jalaakar nasht kar dein ya ukhaadkar gahra jameen mein daba dein. adhik gahari sinchaai na karein.
