bhaarateeya vaayusena (Indian airforce) bhaarateeya sashastr sena ka ek ang hai jo vaayu yuddh, vaayu suraksha, evam vaayu chaukasi ka mahatvapoorn kaam desh ke liye karti hai. iski sthaapana 8 October 1932 ko ki gayi thi. aajaadi (1950 mein poorn ganatantr ghoshit hone) se poorv ise royal Indian airforce ke naam se jaana jaata tha aur 1945 ke dviteeya vishvayuddh mein isne mahatvapoorn bhoomika nibhaai thi. aajaadi (1950 mein poorn ganatantr ghoshit hone) ke pashchyaat ismein se "royal" shabd hataakar sirf "Indian airforce" kar diya gaya.

aajaadi ke baad se hi bhaarateeya vaayusena padausi mulk Pakistan ke saath chaar yuddhon va cheen ke saath ek yuddh mein apna yogadaan de chuki hai. ab tak isne kain bade missiono ko anjaam diya hai jinmein operation vijay - Goa ka adhigrahan, operation meghadoot, operation kaiktas va operation pumalaai shaamil hai. aisein kai vivaadon ke alaava bhaarateeya vaayusena sanyukt raashtra ke shaanti mission ka bhi sakriya hisa rahi hai.

Bhaarat ke raashtrapati bhaarateeya vaayu sena ke commander in cheef ke roop mein kaarya karte hai. vaayu senaadhyaksh, air cheef maarshal (ACM), ek chaar sitaara commander hai aur vaayu sena ka netrutv karte hai. bhaarateeya vaayu sena mein kisi bhi samay ek se adhik air cheef maarshal seva mein kabhi naheen hote.

iska mukhyaalaya nayi Delhi mein sthit hai evam 2006 ke aankadon ke anusaar ismein kul milaakar 170,000 javaan evam 1,350 ladaakoo vimaan hain jo ise duniya ki chauthi sabse badi vaayusena hone ka darja dilaati hai.[4]

bhaarateeya vaayusena ke mission, sashastr bal adhiniyam 1947 ke dvaara paribhaashit kiya gaya hai Bhaarat ke samvidhaan aur sena adhiniyam 1950, havaai yuddhakshetr mein:

"Bhaarat aur sahit har bhaag ki raksha, uske bachaav ke liye taiyaari aur aise sabhi krutyon ke roop mein apni abhiyojan paksh aur iske prabhaavi viyojan ko samaapti ke baad yuddh ke samay mein anukool kiya ja sakta hai."

bhaarateeya vaayu sena bhaarateeya sashastr balon ki anya shaakhaaon ke saath saath aapada raahat kaaryakramo mein prabhaavit kshetron mein raahat saamagri giraane, khoj evam bachaav abhiyaanon, aapada kshetron mein naagrik nikaasi upakram mein sahaayata pradaan karta hai. bhaarateeya vaayu sena ne 2004 mein sunaami tatha 1998 mein Gujarat chakravaat ke dauraan praakrutik aapadaaon se bachaav ke liye raahat aapareshanon ke roop mein vyaapak sahaayata pradaan ki. bhaarateeya vaayu sena anya deshon ki raahat kaaryakramon mein bhi sahaayata pradaan karta hai, jaisa ki usane operation renabo (Rainbow) ke roop mein Sri Lanka mein kiya.

itihaas

bhaarateeya vaayusena (Air Force) skeen committee (Skeen Committee) dvaara 1926 E. mein ki gayi sifaarish ke aadhaar par 1 April 1933 mein bhaateeya vaayusena ka gathan kiya gaya. kuchh vaapiti (Wapiti) vimaanon, kraanavel (Cranwel) prashikshit kuchh udaakon tatha vaayusainikon (airmen) ke chhote se dal se is sena ne kaaryaaranbh kiya. gat 35 varshon mein bhaarateeya vaayusena ne vishesh vistaar aur pratishtha arjit ki hai. aaj bhaarateeya vaayusena raashtra ki suraksha ki drushti se sashastr sena ka na keval aparihaarya evam pruthak‌ ang hain, balki yeh aadhuniktam vaayuyaanon se susajjit ek vistaari vaayusena ka udaakoo beda ban gaya hai.

dveetiya vishv yuddh ke dauraan bhaarateeya vaayusena ke chinh mein se laal gola hata diya gaya taaki Japani hinomaaroo (ugata suraj) ke saath saamya ko taala ja sakein.[8] 1943 mein vaayusena badh kar saat skavaudranas va 1945 tak naun skavaudranas ki ho gayi jismein valti veinjanns gota bamavarshak va hariken aur A. dabloo 15 atalaantas jise 1944 mein shaamil kar liya gaya.[9] bhaarateeya vaayusena ne barma mein badhati hui Japani sena ko rokane mein sahaayata pradaan ki thi, jahaan isne apna pehli havaai hamla araakan mein Japani sainya chhaavani par kiya. vaayusena ne maai hang san aur uttari Thailand ke chaing maai va chaing raae mein bhi Japani havaai addon par hamle kiye. apne yogadaan ke liye 1945 mein raaja George VI nein ise royal ki upaadhi di.[10]

aajaadi ke baad ke shurooaati varsh (1947-1950)

aajaadi ke pashchyaat Bhaarat do bhaagon, Bhaarat sangh va dominiyn of Pakistan, mein baant diya gaya. bhaugolik vibhaajan ke baad vaayusena bhi dono deshon mein baant di gayi. Bhaarat ki vaayusena ka naam royal Indian airforce hi raha par das mein se teen skavaudran aur kaaryaalaya jo Pakistan mein chale gaye the vah royal Pakistan airforce mein shaamil kar liye gaye.[11] royal Indian airforce ka chinh ek antarim 'chakr' ashok chakr se vyutpann chinh se badal gaya tha.[8]

usi dauraan Jammu Kashmir ke grahan ka vivaad khada ho gaya. Bhaarat ko 1950 mein ganatantr ghoshit karte hi royal shabd hataakar sirf Indian airforce kar diya gaya aur usi samay se aaj kaaryaanvit chinh apna liya gaya.[15][8]

kaungo yuddh va Goa mukti sangraam (1960-1961)

bhaarateeya vaayusena ne 1960 mein mahatvapoorn sangharsh dekha jab kaungo par Belgium ka 75 saalon ka raaj achaanak khatm ho gaya aur desh ko bade paimaane par hinsa aur vidroh ne nigl liya.[16] bhaarateeya vaayusena ne apne paanchavein skavaudran, jo english ilektrik kainabera vimaanon ka dasta tha, ko sanyukt raashtra ke kaungo abhiyaan mein sahaayata dene ke maksad se ravaana kar diya. squadron ne November mein parichaalan mission ke upakram shuroo kar diye.[17] 1966 mein sanyukt raashtra ka abhiyaan khatm hone tak squadron vahaan tika raha.[17] liopoldavil aur kamina se kaarya karte hue kainabera vimaano ne jald hi vidrohi vaayusena ko nestaanaabood kar diya aur sanyukt raashtra ke jmeeni daste ka ek maatr havaai sahaara ban gaye.[18]

seema vivaad va vaayusena mein badlaav (1962-1971)

haal-24 maarut, bhaarateeya vaayusena mein shaamil kiya gaya pehla ladhaakoo vimaan.

1962 mein Bhaarat va cheen mein stithi yuddh star tak ja pahunchi jab cheen ne apni sainya tukadiyaan Bhaarat ke seemaavarti ilaakon mein daakhil kar di.[20] Bhaarat-cheen yuddh ke dauraan Bhaarat ke sainya yojanaakaar vaayusena tainaat karne aur prabhaavi dhang se istemaal mein asafal rahe jiska khaamiyaaja Bhaarat ko cheen ke haathon kain jagah mushkilon ka saamana karna pada, khaas taur par Jammu-Kashmir mein.[20]

1965 ke yuddh ke baad bhaarateeya vaayu sena ne apne badlaav va apni kshamataaon mein sudhaar ki ek shrrunkhala shuroo kar di. 1966 mein paira commando ki rejimeint taiyaar ki gayi.[28] apni rasad aapoorti aur bachaav kaarya karne ki kshamata mein vruddhi ke liye vaayusena ne Hindustan aeronautics dvaara aivro se praapt laaisanns ke tahat banaae gaye 72 HS 748 vimaan shaamil kiye.[29]Bhaarat ne ladaakoo vimaanon ke svadeshi nirmaan par adhik dabaav daalna shuroo kar diya jiske parinaam svaroop prasiddh jarman eyarospes engineer kart taink dvaara dijaain kiye gaye haal echaef-24 maaroot vimaan bhaarateeya vaayusena ka ang ban gaye.[30] haal (Hindustan aeronautics limited) ne bhi fauland gnaat vimaanon ke ek unnat sanskaran haal-ajit viksit karne shuroo kar diye.[31] isi ke saath Bhaarat ne maak-2 (dhvani ke raftaar se doguna) ki raftaar se udane vaale rusi mig-21 va sukhoi soo-7 ladaakoo vimaan shaamil kar liye.[32]

Bangladesh mukti yuddh (1971)

1971 ke ant mein poorvi Pakistan mein svatantrata aandolan ke chalte Bhaarat-Pakistan ke beech Bangladesh mukti sangraam chhid gaya.[33] 22 November 1971 ko yuddh shuroo hone se das din pehle hi chaar Pakistani ef-86 sebar ladaakoo vimaanon ne bhaarateeya va garibpur mein mukti bhani ilaakon mein hamla kar diya jo antarraashtreeya seema ke kaafi nikat hai. chaar mein se teen sebar vimaanon ko bhaarateeya fauland gnaat vimaanon ne maar giraaya.[34] 3 December ko Bhaarat ne Pakistan ke viruddh yuddh ki aupachaarik ghoshana kar di jiske saath hi Pakistani vaayusena ne shreenagar, ambaala, sirsa, halavaara aur Jodhpur mein bhaari hamle kiye. adhikaariyon ko pehle se hi iski aashanka thi isiliye pehle hi saavadhaaniyaan barati gayi jiske kaaran maamooli nuksaan hua.[35] bhaarateeya vaayusena ne jald hi javaabi kaaryavaahi ki jiske baad Pakistani sena bachaav ki mudra mein udaanein bharne lagi.[36]

Kargil se pehle ki gatividhiyaaain (1984-1988)

1984 mein Bhaarat ne operation meghadoot shuroo kiya, jiske antargat siyaachin ko Kashmir mein vaapas shaamil karna tha.[43] vaayusena ke mi-8, chetak va cheeta helikauptars ne kain bharateeya senaaniyon ko siyaachin par utaar diya.[44] 13 April 1984 ko shuroo hua yeh abhiyaan siyaachin ki mushkil paristhitiyon ke chalte apni tarah ka ekamev abhiyaan tha. yeh sainya abhiyaan kaamayaab raha. bhaarateeya sena ko kisi bhi tarah ki rukaavat ka saamana naheen karna pada aur vah siyaachin ke adhiktar bhaagon par pun: varchasv saabit karanein mein kaamayaab rahi.[45]

bhaarateeya vaayusena ka N-32 jo operation pumalaai mein kaam aae.

shreenlankaai gruh yuddh ko khatm karne aur maanaveeya sahaayata pradaan karne ki vaarta jab vifl rahi[46] tab bhaarateeya prashaasan ne operation pumalaai shuroo kiya[46] jiske chalte 4 June 1987 ko paanch N-32 ke dvaara, jinhe paanch miraaj 2000 ne havaai suraksha pradaan karne ka kaarya kiya, insaani jruraton ka saamaan giraaya jise shreenlankaai sena ne bina virodh hone diya.[46][47]

bhaarateeya vaayusena ka pramukh adhikaari cheef of ear staaf (Chief of Air Staff) kahalaata hai aur iska pad cheef ear maarshal (Air Marshal) ka hota hai. vaayusena ka mukhyaalaya Delhi mein sthit hai, jiske dvaara sampoorn sangathan par niyantran rakha jaata hai. cheef of ear staaf ki sahaayata ke liye ear maarshal tatha vaais ear maarshal (Vice Air Marshal), ya ear commodore (Air Commodor) pad ke mukhya chaar staaf afsar (staff officers) hote hain. ye hi vaayusena ki pramukh shaakhaaon par niyantran rakhate hain.

vaayusena ka mukhyaalaya nimnalikhit chaar mukhya shaakhaaon mein vibhkt hai :

(1) ear staaf (Air Staff) shaakha,

(2) prashaasanik shaakha,

(3) anurakshan (Maintenance) shaakha tatha

(4) kaaryaneeti evam yojana (Policy and Plans) shaakha.

ear staaf shaakha

is shaakha ke antargat nimnalikhit nideshaalaya hain : signal, prashikshan (Training), praasoochana (Intelligence), mausam vigyaan aur sahaayak evam reserve (Auxiliary and Reserve).

prashaasanik shaakha

is shaakha mein nimnalikhit nideshaalaya hain : sangathan, (Organization), kaarmik (Personnel), chikitsa vyavastha lekha, kaarmik seva, vaayusena nirmaan (Airforce, Works), mukhya abhiyanta, vaayusena khelakood, niyantrak board tatha judge-edavoket. inmein chikitsa vyavastha aur lekh vibhaag vishesh mahatva ke hain.

kamaan tatha fauji kaararavaai (Command and Operations)

vaayusena ke mukhyaalaya ke antargat chaar pradhaan virchanaaeain (formations) hain, jinhein kamaan kehte hain. vaayusena ki kuchh yooniton ke atirikt anya sabhi yoonitein in kamaanon ke antargat aati hain. desh ke vibhinn bhaagon mein sthit vingon (wings) evam keindron (stations) ke dvaara kamaan vaayusena par apna niyantran rakhata hai. pratyek ving evam kendra ke antargat anek udaan, prashikshan, takaneeki evam sthaitik yoonitein rahati hain. uparyukt chaar kamaanein nimnalikhit hain :

(1) fauji kaaryavaahi kamaan, (2) prashikshan kamaan, (3) anurakshan kamaan tatha (4) istarn ear kamaan (Eastern Air Command). 1952 E. mein sansad dvaara rijrv end okjiliyri ear fors aikt paarit kiya gaya. is aikt ka paalan karne ke liye nimnalikhit saat skvaadranon ka gathan kiya gaya : 51 nan. (Delhi), 52 nan. (Mumbai), 53 nan (Madras), 54 nan. (u. pr.), 55 nan. (Bengal), 56 nan. (udeesa) aur 57 nan. (Punjab).

vaayusena mein prashikshan suvidha

ear fors flaaing college, Jodhpur aur paailat training school, Allahabad, mein vimaan chaalakon ko udaan ka praarambhik prashikshan ek varsh tak diya jaata hai. Hyderabad sthit jet training end transport training vings mein jet evam bahuinjan (multiengined) vaayuyaanon par ek varsh tak uchch udaan evam sanparivrtan (conversion) prashikshan diya jaata hai. jalaahalli (bangalor) sthit ear fors teknikl college (Airforce Technical College) mein engineering tatha singanal aadi ke adhikaari prashikshan dekar taiyaar kiye jaate hain. jalaahalli sthit school mein uchch signal trade ke vaayusainikon ko prashikshit kiya jaata hai. poornaang havaai karmi (air crew) ki upaadhi paane se poorv chhaatr nevigetar (pupil navigator) ka praarambhik prashikshan Jodhpur mein aur uchch prashikshan Hyderabad mein praapt karta hai. koyaputtoor sthit ear fors aidaministrativ college mein anek sthaleeya kaaryon ke liye adhikaariyon ka prashikshan hota hai. bangalor ke aiviyeshan medisin kaalej mein medical afsaron ko prashikshit kiya jaata hai. tanbaaram sthit school mein flaaing instraktaron ka prashikshan hota hai. Hyderabad mein uchchaadhikaariyon ko sthal tatha havaai yuddh ka ek saath adhyayan karaane ke liye ek school hai. Agra mein chhaataadhaari sainikon (paratroopers) ke prashikshan ke liye school hai.

bhaarateeya vaayusena nimnalikhit vimaanon ka upayog karti hai :

prashikshan vimaan (Training Aircraft) - tiger mauth (Tiger Moth), parsivl preintis (Percival Prentice), H. ti-2 (H. T-2), haarvaard spitfaayar (Harvard Spitfire), vainpaayar (Vampire) tatha daakota (Dakotas).

2. ladaakoo vimaan (Fighter Aircraft) - spitfaayar (Spitfire), teinpeet (Tempeet), vainpaayar, toofaani (Toophani), hantar (Hunter) tatha nait (Gnat).

3. parivhan vaayuyaan (Transport Aircraft) - daakota, deevaan si-119 (Devon C-119) bauksakaar (Boxcar), otars (Otters), vaaikaaunt (Viscount), ilishin (Illyshin) tatha packet (Paket).

4. bamavardhak (Bombers) - libretar (Liberator) tatha Canberra (Canberra).

5. toh lenevaale vimaan (Reconnaissance) - spitfaayar, ostar (Auster) tatha haarvaard (Harvard).

6. atirikt vimaan - helikauptar (Helicopter), ostar, tatha Kanpur-1 (Kanpur-1).

vimaan ka utpaadan (Aircraft Production)

Bhaarat sarkaar ne bangalor sthit Hindustan earakraipt factory (Hindustan Aircraft Factory) mein vimaanon ka nirmaan aarambh kiya hai. dviteeya vishvayuddh ke dauraan mitr raashtron ki atyadhik vyast vaayusena ke vimaanon ke ovarahaal (overhaul) ke liye is factory ki sthaapana hui thi. kuchh hi varshon ke baad 1940 E. mein yeh kaarkhaana gairsarkaari limited company mein parivrtit ho gaya tha aur iska naam Hindustan earakraapt limited (Hindustan Aircraft Ltd) pada. 1945 E. yeh kaarkhaana poornat: sarkaari prabandh mein aa gaya. Bhaarat ke svatantr hone ke baad is kaarkhaane mein vimaanon ka nirmaan praarambh hua. iska naam Hindustan aiyaronautiks limited (Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.) rakha gaya. is kaarkhaane mein pratham bhaarateeya prashikshan vimaan H. ti-2 (H. T-2) bhaarateeya injeeniyron dvaara banaaya gaya. vainpaayar jet ladaakoo vimaan tatha nait vimaan license ke antargat yahaaain banaae gaye. gat das varshon mein pushpak evam krushak vimaanon tatha maarut naamak bhaarateeya paraadhvanik (supersonic) vimaan H. ef-24 (H. F-24) ka nirmaan is kaarkhaane mein hua hai. license ke antargat bane Bristol aarafeeyas (Bristoi Orpheus) tatha rols rauyas daart (Rolls Royce Dart) engine aur bhaarateeya abhiklp ke jet airo (jet aero) engine is kaarkhaane ke anya utpaadan hai. is kaarkhaane mein bhaarateeya vimaanon ki marammat tatha ovarahaal ke atirikt videshi graahakon, jaise saaudi arab, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, barma ke vimaanon ki marammat evam ovarahaal hota hai.

Kanpur ke havaai kendra (air base) par bhi Bhaarat sarkaar ne vimaan nirmaan dipo ki sthaapana ki. is dipo mein Britain ki prasiddh farm haakar sidle group (Hawker Siddeley Group) ke sahayog se aadhunik parivhan vimaan aivaro-748 (AVRO 748) ka nirmaan hua hai. Bhaarat sarkaar ne Kanpur mein vimaan nirmaan ka ek kaarkhaana sthaapit kiya hai. kuchh dinon poorv Hindustan eyaronautiks limited tatha kaanapuravaali factory ekeekrut hokar ek company mein parivrtit ho gaye hain, jiska naam India eyaronautikl limited (India Aeronautics Ltd.) rakha gaya hai.

India aironautikl limited ki anya teen nai ikaaiyaaain Nasik, Hyderabad tatha koraaput (Koraput) mein sthaapit ki gayi hain. inmein mig-21 (MIG-21) naamak vimaan ke dhaaainche, engine aur electronic upakaran ban rahe hain. vimaan ke dhaaainche Nasik mein, engine koraaput mein tatha electronic upakaran Hyderabad mein ban rahe hain.
