baakala ya kauman been, (vaigyaanik naam : faiseyolas valgairis) ek vaarshik paudha hai, jo ki meejo amareeka aur endeej parvat par moolat: ugata tha. ab yeh vishv bhar mein ugaaya jaata hai. iski khaadya faliyaan aur beej hi iske utpaad hote hain. iski pattiyaan kaheen kaheen hari sabji ke kaam aati hain aur iska bhoosa maveshiyon ke liye kaam mein aata hai. jaivik drushti se yeh ek dvibeejapatri paudha hai. iski faliyaan legyoom shreni ki hone se bhoomi ko naaitrojan daayak hoti hain. yeh prakriya rhaaijobiya naamak naaitrojan daayak jeevaanu dvaara hoti hai.
