aitareya braahman

aitareya braahman rigved ki ek shaakha hai jiska keval "braahman" hi upalabdh hai, sanhita naheen. aitareya braahman rigvedeeya braahmanon mein apni mahatta ke kaaran pratham sthaan rakhata hai. yeh "braahman" hautrakarm se sambaddh vishyon ka bada hi poorn parichaayak hai aur yahi iska mahatva hai. is "braahman" ke anya ansh bhi upalabdh hote hain jo "aitareya aaranyak" tatha "aitareya upanishd" kahalaate hain.

adhyaaya evam saamagri

aitareya braahman mein 40 adhyaaya hain jinmein pratyek paaainch adhyaayon ko milaakar ek "panchika" kehte hain aur pratyek adhyaaya ke vibhaag ko "kandika". is prakaar poore granth mein aath panchika, 40 adhyaaya, athva 285 kandikaaeain hain. samast somayaagon ki prakruti hone ke kaaran "agnishtom" ka prathamat: vistrut varnan kiya gaya hai aur anantar savanon mein prayukt shaastron ka tatha agnishtom ki vikrutiyon–ukthya, atiraatr tatha shodashi yaag–ka upaadeya vivran prastut kiya gaya hai. "raajasooya" ka varnan, tadantargat shun:shep ka aakhyaan tatha "aindr mahaabhishek" ka vivran aitihaasik drushti se vishesh mahatvapoorn hain. ashtam panchika mein praacheen Bhaarat ke moordhaabhishikt samraaton ka vishesh varnan kiya gaya hai. jismein is vishay ki praacheen gaathaaeain udhrut ki gayi hain. gaathaaeain bhaasha tatha itihaas donon drushtiyon se mahatva rakhati hain.

"aitareya" shabd ki vyaakhya

"aitareya" shabd ki vyaakhya ek praacheen teekaakaar ne ki hai – itara (shoodra) ka putr, jiske kaaran is braahman ke mool pravartak par heen jaati ka hone ka dosh lagaaya jaata hai, parantu vastusthiti aisi naheen hai. avesta ka ek prakhyaat shabd hai – "ethreya" jiska arth hai ritvij, yagya karaanevaala purohit. vidvaanon ki drushti mein vaidik "aitareya" ko is "aitareya" se sambaddh maanana bhaashaashaastreeya shaili se nitaant uchit hai. falat: "aitareya" ka bhi arth hai "ritvij". is braahman mein pratipaadya vishay ki aalochna karne par is arth ki yathaarthata mein sandeh naheen rahata.
